Cursus osteologicus: being a compleat doctrine of the bones; according to the newest, and most refin’d notions of anatomy. Shewing their nature, substance, composition, manner of ossification, nourishment, &c. Also the various ways of their articulation; together with the parts to be consider’d in each particular bone of the whole skeleton, as figure, cavities, protuberancies, foramina, scituation, connexion and use; with several curious observations relating to the bones. To which is annex’d by way of appendix, an excellent method of whitening, cleansing, preparing, and uniting the bones, to form a movable skeleton, wherein the bones may have the same motions s in a living subject.
