A recommendation of that high and most noble modicine[sic], the essential spirit of scurvey grass compound; the invention and preparation of the Sieur de Vernantes, a German born, graduated in physick in those famous universities, Montpelier and Padua in Italy, sometime professor thereof in Leyden in Holland, and chief chymist and physician to that great lover of learning and art, Arch-Duke Leopold; communicated by him to Hen. Clarke chymist and apothecary of London: and by him now prepared and publickly vended for those who are at this day troubled with that mos miserable and reigning disease the scurvey.
