Culpeper’s last legacy: left and bequeathed to his dearest wife for the publick good. Being the choicest and most profitable of those secrets which while he lived were lock’d up in his breast, and resolved never to be published till after his death Containing sundry admirable experiences in several sciences, more especially in chyrurgery and physick: viz. compounding of medicines. Making of waters, syrups, oyls, electuaries, conserves, salts, pills, purges and trochischs. With two particular treatises the one of fevers, the other of pestilence: as also rare and choice aphorisms and receipts, fittted [sic] to the understanding of the meanest capacities. With an Addition of two hundred choice receipts, lately found, never published before in any of his other works; and a compleat table. The sixth impression; whereunto is added an exact and perfect treatise of anatomy of the reins and bladder, brain and nerves of all the parts of the body, never published before this year, 1685.
