The potable balsome of life· Being a collection of the choicest preservatives that are extant within the three natural families of minerals, vegetables and animals, reduced into such essences and tinctures by the scientifick art of chymie, which constitute a radical and cordial balsamick liquor, agreeable and pleasant to the senses, and to be taken in small proportions.
